Paper Airplane Folding Instructions

1. Fold the paper in half by bringing the top to the bottom.

2. Fold in half the other direction, making a crease and then unfold.

3. Fold the top corners to the center line so that the crease goes through to the bottom corners.

4. Unfold the last step and accordion fold the corners inside.

5. Fold the top corners to the center line.

6. Fold the tip back about one inch (2.5cm).

7. Fold the paper plane in half towards you.

8. Fold out the sides to create the wings. The body should be about 2cm tall in the front and grow to 3cm in the back.

9. Fold the wing tips up or down to create stabilizers.

Final Paper Airplane Design

The wingtips in the final step can be folded either up or down depending on your preferences. Try both! Fold the top ones up and the bottom ones down for a dramatic look.
