Paper Airplane Folding Instructions

Step 1

1. Fold the top right corner to the left side.

Step 2

2. Open the sheet back up and repeat the same step with the left corner.

Step 3

3. Open the sheet back up and accordion fold both sides in so it looks like this.

Step 4

4. Next, fold the top point down to the middle edge.

Step 5

5. Fold both triangle flaps into the center.

Step 6

6. Take each triangle flap, fold them up and tuck them into the previously folded top triangle.

Step 7

7. Fold the plane in half with the triangle on the outside.

Step 8

8. Fold out both wings about 1 inch from the center.

Step 9

9. Finally, fold out the wing flaps in opposite directions, one up and one down.

The wing flaps folded in opposite directions will cause this paper plane to spiral through the air like a corkscrew. Adjust the wing flap angles to adjust the size of the spiral.
