Basic Foam Board Glider
This simple foam board airplane can be hand tossed and launched with a rubber band.
These downloadable plans gives you the instructions and templates for building the Basic Foam Glider (BFG) at home. Glue or tape the plans to a piece of foam board and then use a hobby knife to carefully cut out the pieces. It goes together very quickly with hot-melt glue and then you can give it a hand toss to test it out. Then make a rubber band launcher and give it a stronger launch. It should fly really far!
